try 47692 or 47695. I think the issue probably starts around 47711 or 47712 so public release >=47720 is when I think things start to get funky for the public releases.
Another update: Had a disconnect from one station after 6 hours and from the other after 10 hours. All 3 devices were flashed with build r47695 and reset to defaults before setting up.
Edit: Also worth noting maybe is that I am running all bands at mixed modes. Another thing is that 5GHz is still not visible right away (takes a few minutes for devices to see it) if I use anything slower than Beacon Interval 100 and DTIM at 2. And another thing I'd like to solve is that one Station for some reason connects to the wrong AP (wrong MAC address) instead the main WDS AP sometimes (since they have the same SSID).

I'm just going to chime in, as much as I am reluctant to, and say that people tend to over-configure things when very little configuration is required for WDS to work reliably. I presume you are not trying to WDS both bands between WDS AP and STA(s):

Note about dual-band WDS
Only use a WDS bridge on one radio's Wireless Mode (either 2.4GHz or 5GHz) , as bridging both radios may cause wireless issues. If the signal is strong enough, 5ghz is the best back-haul signal choice since you'll get more bandwidth.

I have a hunch that 47711 and 47712 are breaking things. I have PM'd someone who's in the know and I am waiting for their reply before escalating to BS. Though this could also be an earlier SVN where the Ath10k drivers were updated some time in November AFAICR... we'll get this one chased down soon enough.
Something is quirky for sure. _________________ FORUM RULES

I pretty much follow the Wiki and setup only the basics for it to work, if it has issues I configure a few more things like those Ack timings etc.
Yes, I'm having the WDS AP set only on one band (2.4GHz) on the Archer C7 v5 as well as on the other devices (they support only 2.4GHz anyway).
An interesting fact I forgot to mention for some reason, it appeared that all the routers were connected wirelessly for days of uptime some months ago when only 1 WDS Station was configured, the 3rd router was set as Client Bridge (routed).
I'm trying to configure the same setup as back then at the moment but as soon as I configure the WR841ND v8 as a Client Bridge (routed) I see the device on the info screen as it appears connected to the main Archer, but I can't access the the WEB UI of that one in such a setup anymore for some reason, tried also NOT changing it to router mode but leaving it in Gateway mode but the result is the same.

Thank you. I'd like to point out that I'm on 47695 build right now and am experiencing the same issue.

OK, looking at things it might be the new vanilla drivers that went live on 11/19/21; so please revert to 47644 or 47618 on all routers.... Then to confirm it's the vanilla drivers- test build 67665 and see if the issue starts to happen again. Then we'll be able to ask BS to investigate what about the new drivers won't play nice with the code.
For the moment- It would seem something is amiss with the new vanilla drivers implemented on 11/19/21. _________________ FORUM RULES

I'll gladly do that and report back.
Edit: Should it seemed so far as 20MHz width was slightly less interrupted than 40MHz. I'll test with 40MHz first.
Just to confirm since I have only the option between Vanilla and DD-WRT drivers as a selectable option for the 5GHz band.. when there is no option (2.4GHz), by default Vanilla are applied or do I need to specify with a command?

On the R9000 and R7800 (and EA8500=Wifi 5 wave1) both radios should have this option since both are Wifi-5 wave-2 radios.
The C7vx series only uses the 9980 chips on the 5ghz radio and the 2.4ghz is part of the main CPU/SoC (AFAIR). This is why you only see vanilla on the 5ghz radio which is Ath10k (Thus having Vanilla/DD-WRT options).
All older routers use Ath9k drivers which have no Vanilla or DD-wrt option at all. Vanilla implies Ath10k drivers being used. _________________ FORUM RULES
Rolled back to 47692 on the 7800 with full reset/restore. turned out the patch i need was in 92 not 95. Since i have a backup for 92, ill move to that one, but 95 shouldnt be any different.
@gamerHD If rolling back from current dec build, i would do a reset, there were some options added that might hang around in the settings if you dont. Not sure if that will affect things.
At this point i have been on 47692 on the main 7800 for about 4 hours, it is MUCH happier than any december build. My configs match best practice in the QCA wiki. I did not downgrade my STA, I am not sure i need to. In fairness i am only at 1/3 nightly load at moment and will report back when i have a full house pounding away.
Configuration notes 7800

Update: Connection seems fairly stable. 16 hours uptime on the connection on all stations on build 47618 but ONLY on mixed mode 20MHz width, everything else keeps disconnecting (I've got no device that's older than 2016 that's accessing the wireless network).
Edit: Just 30 minutes after posting this, the WR841ND v8 station disconnected (appears rebooted). I have the WDS Watchdog enabled but I also noticed more RAM usage on this slightly older build, I've seen it go down to 1mb free sometimes (might have ran out of memory and rebooted). Once again, this station is configured as a station according to the wiki, just without a VAP.
