Finally decided to install DD-WRT.
I am requesting the following before I do so:
• A recommended build
• Any particular procedure for flashing the firmware
• Any other important things worthy of note (I am aware of the possibility of a brick upon 30-30-30ing the router)
Although this could be found elsewhere on the forum, I would like everything I need to know compiled into a single post for my reference when I finally flash DD-WRT onto this... thing.
Go to Administration -> Factory Defaults -> Restore -> Apply Settings to flash dd-wrt.v24_mini_wrt54gs.bin
That is not what I see in the Factory Defaults menu.
EDIT: I suppose I need to use the Firmware Upgrade menu to install the DD-WRT firmware. Additionally, is the 5-minute wait AFTER the firmware is flashed, or is it upon starting the flash?

Thank you for pointing out an error in the wiki. I presume the correct location is Administration -> Firmware Upgrade and will edit the wiki accordingly.
