I recently flashed my NetGear R7500 V1 to be able to use VPN on it and all works well for me. The only thing I am missing is to be able to connect the USB drive to the router and access it through laptop or my android TV.
Before flashing I used Netgear's easyshare feature and was able to input the IP address of the harddrive to my tv or laptop and been able to share files easily.
I tried to use NAS and the hardrive was mounted to my router but I am not able to find the IP address of the drive so I can access as an FTP. is there a way to get the IP of the usb drive in DDWRT?
