I tried ch157 and it does work but high channels are very busy here (my channels only go up to 157). Channels in the lower hundreds don't work. Ch36 is good for me.

Why TX power at 15?

I just tried channel 108 (randomly chosen from the lower hundreds) and it's working fine for me (including to post this reply). I generally use the autochannel setting, which works a charm on Marvell hardware. One difference in our configs is that you're using width 80 while I'm at 20 (too much interference here for 40, much less 80). Could local interference be your issue?

As for TX power, this unit's in an urban high-rise environment. I've tuned TX power and other parameters to meet my needs while minimizing risk (e.g., discourage casual hackers, don't cook the pets or annoy the neighbors, etc.). I could probably get away with single digit power on the same floor (well, I know 12 worked reliably), but needed 15 to reliably get it on other floors with stock antennas. I don't usually need a signal outdoors, but have been known to adjust config parameters and swap specialized and/or redirect antennas when I do. These days, I actually have a dedicated older unit already set up, which I simply plug and point when I occasionally want long range.
