I've had a linksys WRT54G with dd-wrt set up as an extender for several years.
I've just set up a new broadband hub and now trying to update the dd-wrt to connect to it.
I've updated the wireless settings in the dd-wrt GUI with the new wifi network name and password. However it doesn't seem to connect to the new wifi network. Is there anyway to troubleshoot this?

Some further details would help. Which ISP, what "broadband hub" it is, specifically how the WRT54G is connected (wirelessly, we presume; but is it client, client bridge, repeater, repeater bridge?, WDS?), etc. We generally try to support the most recent releases of the firmware so that any current bugs or issues can be reported and resolved as well - please state your build number. It is always helpful for you to provide as many details as possible when seeking help. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Also make sue you cleared the nvram from the old FW and not restored some old nvram backup to your new version. Just to eliminate the possibility of nvram gremlins.
Personally I prefer a txt human readable nvram backup for reference
Note: substitute version with the current FW version or whatever suits your reference schema better.
Code:
nvram show > /tmp/nvram-backup-version.txt
then just SCP/SFTP/FTP the file to your desktop or preferred backup location which then can be used to manually reprogram nvram as a reference.
Don't try to restore the text file in one go, it has to one value at the time.
