WEP security problem HELP HELP

Ok, my WRT54G V6 was running fine until yesterday. It lost the WAN and i just fixed it right now, by reinstalling the firmware.

Now i cannot get my WEP wireless security setup. I enter my passphrase.

When i try to join the network on my mac, it says incompatible, on my ipod touch, it keeps saying wrong password. when i type in my first name exactly the same way in the setup.

I am currently running DD-WRT v24 (05/24/0Cool micro.

My wireless works fine without the security.

PLEASE HELP

Particularly the 30/30/30 reset.

Also consider perhaps upgrading to a newer build since sp1 has issues (also in the peacock thread).
