Woohoooo!!!

Samba seems to be working now with network attached storage and I no longer get when trying to create a new folder via file explorer on Windows 10 'file is to large for destination file system' or If trying to send a file from the laptop the message 'file already exists' (which it doesn't/didn't).

My torrents are also no longer crashing when downloading direct to the network attached storage.

Happy bunny so far as it appears I am no longer stuck with r47381 on my R7000.

@Mr R Design

I split your reply from the build thread as the reply was offtopic since it did not include the required info which is provided by the template.

You are welcome to fill in templates and report you status as compared to your previous reports that did follow the threads requirements.

Thanks in advance for understanding.

Have a nice Sunday and take care.

It was actually "on-topic". Perhaps it didn't include all the proper pertinents, but it was. Where's my friend Sam**** to voice his concern about an over-zealous mod, lol.

Hey, at least he included router model and previous build. The samba shuffle dance and excitement is real!

Router/Version: EA-6350 - Broadcom Northstar
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r47692 std (11/28/21)
Kernel: Linux 4.4.292 #4445 SMP Wed Nov 17 13:06:24 +07 2021 armv7
Previous: r47510
Update Method: GUI
Mode/Status: AP/OK
Reset: No
Issues/Errors: None, except as explained below.

Great work. Thanks to all who contributed and make this great firmware.

One issue that has annoyed me for a while is that after about one month of running or if the router is rebooted, wl0 (2.4GHz) reverts to Wireless Security "Disabled" (although the GUI still shows "WPA2-PSK"). The Wireless Security GUI "Apply Settings" button must be pressed to enable the encryption for wl0. This is not a new issue and has been present in older builds.

The wl0 settings for my EA-6350 are below:

Basic Settings Wireless Interface wl0 (2.4GHZ) - Max Vaps(16) -
Physical Interface wl0 - SSID [D-Link-G] HWAddr [48:F8:B3:DF:30:1E]
Wireless Mode: AP
Wireless Network Mode: NG-Mixed
Wireless Network Name (SSID): D-Link-G
Wireless Channel: 6 - 2.437 GHz
Channel Width: 20 MHz
Wireless SSID Broadcast: Enable
Sensitivity Range (ACK Timing): 500
Multicast To Unicast: Disable
Network Configuration: Bridged

Wireless Security wl0 -
Physical Interface wl0 SSID [D-Link-G] HWAddr [48:F8:B3:DF:30:1E]
Security Mode: WPA2-PSK
WPA Algorithms: COMP 128 (AES)
WPA Shared Key: **********
Key Renewal Interval (in seconds): 3600

@rodgerwheat please report this in the build threads.

That is the place the developers look for problems
