Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r47618 std (11/05/21) / No

Previous/Reset: r47618 / Yes

Issues/Errors: None sofar

Did a quick test to see if the reset button works. Long pressing the reset button that clears the nvram and does a reboot afterwards, works. Thanks BS! Very Happy

Will do some more testing later this week.

Router/Version: Netgear R7800
File/Kernel: Linux 4.9.280
Previous/Reset: CLI update / No reset
Mode/Status: Gateway / Working
Issues/Errors: Works fine but something is messed up with WireGuard

Using Vanilla on 2.4 and DD-WRT on 5GHz, WAN, QoS, Wireguard tunnel, DDNS, DNSmasq.

I still have troubles with WireGuard, I don't know what's the trouble but I have to manually export the current config and re-add to my iPhone/Macbook/iPad. After that it works like a charm.

I'm also using no-ip to retrieve automatically the IP when the router reboot but this has alway worked, I think something has changed with the latest update of WireGuard: Changeset 46974 Confused

Maybe update the WG Apple clients?

I have no Apple clients but DDWRT client, Android and Windows client work without a problem

so, the router had some kind of crash again.. the WiFi signal disappeared for some time..

i got this from the Status\Syslog:

Code:
Nov 16 15:00:02 xxxxxx user.info : [sfe] : shortcut forwarding engine successfully stopped

i was reading about this in the wiki and in some posts but i really don't understand if this could be related.. the strange thing is the "SFE successfully stopped" when i wasn't even accessing the router

another strange thing is that before this the router have done many, many sequential auths with the main router.. like:
Code:
Nov 16 14:15:19  xxxxxx daemon.info hostapd: wlan0.1: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx MLME: auth request, signal -68 (Accepted)
Nov 16 14:15:19  xxxxxx daemon.info hostapd: wlan0.1: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: authenticated
Nov 16 14:15:19  xxxxxx daemon.info hostapd: wlan0.1: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx MLME: assoc request, signal -66 (Accepted)
Nov 16 14:15:19  xxxxxx daemon.info hostapd: wlan0.1: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: associated (aid 1)
Nov 16 14:15:19  xxxxxx daemon.info hostapd: wlan0.1: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx RADIUS: starting accounting session 18FDCA14C50BCBA2
Nov 16 14:15:19  xxxxxx daemon.info hostapd: wlan0.1: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx WPA: pairwise key handshake completed (RSN)

Could this be related with the recurring problems i've been reporting in previous versions?

Thanks!

Edit: happened again and i noticed that it is happening every hour..
