Cosmetic. There are several devices that have identical hardware. Likely an incomplete port because specific identifying information to differentiate between all the devices wasn't considered. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

[Fwiw, I have a R6900v2, still OEM atm]
Fwiw, I put OpenWRT 21.02.1 on it yesterday (onto OEM v1.2.0.88 using the R6800 factory bin) to see what happened... working a-ok. Changed to AP mode and tested USB3 over ksmbd, all good. Only thing was that the Wireless AC erroneously allowed selection of 160 MHz, which resulted in no bcast. Correct 80 MHz works fine though.
I saw another post about a user flashing DD to this model, though then reverted (w/ no details). _________________ #NAT/SFE/CTF: limited speed w/ DD#Repeater issues#DD-WRT info: FAQ, Builds, Types, Modes, Changes, Demo#
