Hello, as of a couple revisions ago, my NETGEAR R7000 keeps dropping signal on the 5GHz band (checked with "Wifi Analyzer" for Android). Very occasionally will devices actually be able to connect to it. I'm currently on DD-WRT v3.0-r47510 std (10/04/21) and have tried changing the channel to no avail. Any ideas what could be going on? _________________ HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Mini PC [i3-6100T] (WAN, DHCP, QoS)

A screenshot of your 5GHz basic and advanced settings would work wonders in helping troubleshoot this. Otherwise, I'd just relent to telling you to consult the wiki and sticky at the top of the forum. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Not sure why you're using a DFS channel, that could be creating issues with clients.
Sensitivity range could be brought down to 900 or 1350 and be okay in most cases; the (old) Broadcom default of 2250 per the specs is more than enough.
In AP mode, the default fragmentation and RTS thresholds are fine (2346, 2347); any other setting only applies to client modes AFAIK.
Setting BI to 300 is not going to do you any good unless others in your neighborhood are using the same channel; A BI of 100 with DTIM of 2 or 3 is perfectly fine. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Thanks for the tips! I had the channel set to Auto until earlier today, I'll definitely adjust that to avoid DFS, alongside tweaking the sensitivity range, beacon interval and DTIM. I'll keep you posted on whether stuff is still wonky or not 👌 _________________ HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Mini PC [i3-6100T] (WAN, DHCP, QoS)
