Now i have a mr3020 with gargoyle. It havent took any update since been 4 or 5 years. I thought i can try ddwrt but i scare if things mess up.

Question is that is it possible to flash turn back and forth for gargoyle-ddwrt transition. thanks in advance.

You would have to revert to stock in either direction, most likely.
