I don't know if anyone ever contacted the developer; the usual process involves a hardware donation to port the device. It looks as if most of the router detection information is present, however a fullflash dump would help determine a few necessary things.
Nobody has provided a fullflash dump or hardware donation, I'm sure, but this is what we have so far.
