I bought a Linksys WRT3200ACM to setup an OpenVPN Server at the office.

I first setup a static IP address for this linksys router and then I went setup the OpenVPN Server.

At home, I connected to the OpenVPN however, my laptop at home is still showing the IP address of my home's internet service provider instead of the static ip address for my office linksys router.

Lastly when I connected the OpenVPN, a notification popup near the system tray area, and it says connected to 172.xx.x.x and this IP address seems to be private ip address giving by the router.

So my question is how can my home laptop connect to the OPENVPN and to change my home ip to my office ip address.
