Hello.
How can we use DS-lite protocole in DD-WRT?
(Dual Stack lite)
I've got a gigabit fiber connection here.
However, internet becomes usually very slower than ADSL (sometimes kilo-bits/s, that even text pages are slow to open).
Long story short, the provider puts the blame on "PPPoE connection".
I didn't want especially to change but they promotes/urges users to switch from PPPoE to IPoE.
Then belonging to IPoE, they told me that my router should handle DS-lite protocole for connection.
I'm using DS-lite here in Japan and had to switch my Netgear r7800 to OpenWRT to take advantage of the ds-lite package here
I can't find any other compatible firmware where an addon has been implemented.
Could something similar be ported/created for DD-WRT? It doesn't look too complex but is unfortunately beyond me (as is much of the IPv6 transition technology).
EDIT: I see that OpenWRT packages can be installed on DD-WRT but am not convinced it can be that simple for DS-Lite although ultimately I think it's just some complex routing required. I do have a spare router running DD-WRT so some experimentation may be called for.
