So after years of enjoying the DD-WRT features the first wrt1900acs set as slave access point starts dropping WiFi until reset.
Power cut and the main wrt1900acs fails, flashing either master or slave with a backup- deadly slow and no pppoe connection.
Tested pppoe dial up via laptop and flawless- guessing both are now dead?
After pouring hundreds into consumer
Routers and alternative firmware I would like to try DD-WRT on x86 platform- unfortunately the NIC etc on fanless industrial boards not specified.
So uncertain what to choose as couldn't find wiki section with compatible choices.
We have no idea what builds you have on your 1900s, but if you wish to part with them, PM me. Otherwise, you should be able to recover them unless something went horribly awry. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Hello here, there, and everywhere.
Every time I read any post that asks for router compatibility and someone points to the wiki, it makes me wonder if this is really the best place to look. Even in stickies that are apparently a must read for all.
For me the most obvious/likely place which always has an up-to-date list, requiring 0 wiki edits from community members on which machines are supported, IMO, is the FTP site under betas (i.e. current builds).
If the machine is not listed there, then its not supported.
There may be really good reasons why wiki is more verbose where installing is concerned, but for up to date lists, no where in my mind is really so up to date than the FTP.
Or maybe I missed something obvious on thinking this?
Bottom line, the FTP is an underused/overlooked resource that could be better utilized.

The download resources only have "x86" and "x86_64". That doesn't tell anyone anything about what specific x86 devices are supported, and there isn't much activity in the x86 forum. I won't comment on the perceived attack on the Announcements and Stickies. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
