I am finally after 20 years getting gigabit fiber in my house. My ISP allows me to use my own router, so I don't need their router/modem but it requires that I set up my own router to use VLAN tagging on 101. My router is a Buffalo WZR-D1800H running DD-WRT v3.0-r45563 giga (01/24/21). It has a Broadcom BCM5300 chip rev 1. I am a noob regarding how to do vlan tagging. I tried to look various forum posts but I am having issues running this command "swconfig" because I get this error:
sh: eval: line 1: swconfig: not found
do I need to enable something in DD-WRT first? Is there a to vlan tag via the GUI or is it only possible via command-line and scripts?
OK, I just updated my firmware to the latest dd-wrt. Here is a screenshot of the VLAN section in webgui. My ISP writes in their documentation on how to set up vlan tagging, that they send traffic out on VLAN 101 so the VLAN on my router needs to be tagged to 101 and the IP should be set to DHCP. I am a bit unsure on what to change here. Any advice would appreciated!

That's odd. I am running this build on my R6250 and I have 15 vlans on that page. Just the differences in the routers perhaps? _________________ Linksys EA8500 (Internet Gateway, AP/VAP) - DD-WRT r53562

I didn't have to do any resets, all I had to do was navigate to the page from the main setup page. Perhaps a CTRL+F5 or clearing of browser cache or even a reload of the page. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
