Hi, dd-wrt community!
I have question regarding TP-Link WR842ND v2 router, previously I used it on factory firmware and never used USB port. Recently I flashed DD-WRT v3.0-r47086 std (07/22/21) and planned to use USB flash stick via JFFS. But there is no power on USB (stick is not blinking), dmesg shows nothing when I insert stick, also I tried to insert stick before router power on and no result.

I don't have that enabled on my TL-WR1043NDv2 and I can still charge a cell phone from the USB port. I didn't find anything askew in the kernel configs and such that would prevent it from working, but I've already emailed BrainSlayer regarding this. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

some routers (about 90%) have a especial gpio for enabling the usb port. enabling usb is a requirement for getting the port to work. the wr842v2 has such a gpio. so usb will not work unless you enable it at the usb tab _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking?
