Is xmllint included in the Entware package?
Which package, if any, is included?

I'm sorry, the page you presented is the installation procedure page, isn't it?

I would appreciate it if you mean "you can ask a question here"
Not a good answer for the existence of xmllint I want

It is not up to me or anyone in this forum to click the links in the wiki that I linked for you to read for the list of packages included in Entware.

Thank you for answering my request perfectly

Before asking the question, I was satisfied because I couldn't understand it even if I looked at the opkg list | grep xml and the entry below pakage on github.
(Because I couldn't find the directory with xml)

I don't want that at all
What I wanted was:
"Is xmllint included in the Entware package?
Which package, if any, is included?"

Read the forum rules and guidelines. It is expected of you to look for your answers, it is not expected for this community to spoon feed you every single time. I pointed you to where to find the answer, I didn't have to.

EDIT: Thread unlocked by request from @mwchang 07.15.21

There is no package named "xml-lint" or "xmllint" in Fedora Linux. I looked it up in Google and found this:

Installing XMLLint to Parse and Format XML Data | PHP Lab
https://www.phplab.info/categories/linux/installing-xmllint-to-parse-and-format-xml-data

The package name containing xml-lint is "libxml2"!

Code:
# dnf provides xmllint

And libxml2 and libxml2-dev is included in Entware (see the package list link from the installation wiki, etc.). There's your answer. Thank you, @mwchang for looking further. I ran out of spoons.

but there is no xmllint in the entware packages
I had already checked a while ago

./opt
./opt/lib
./opt/lib/libxml2.so.2
./opt/lib/libxml2.so.2.9.12

I had already checked a while ago

./opt
./opt/lib
./opt/lib/libxml2.so.2
./opt/lib/libxml2.so.2.9.12

Then the package is not the same as those found in real Linux distributions, possibly a custom make using only needed libraries.

kernel-panic69 mentioned 2 packages: libxml2 and libxml2-dev. Did you check both?

I don't play with Entware. Let others help.

Worst-case scenario: Compile xmllint from source codes using GCC? Smile
