I'm going to start deleting these redundant posts. Fair warning.

https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Firmware_FAQ

https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Installation

The firmware FAQ wiki needs some updating on recommended routers (Buffalo WZR-1750DHP is no longer available in most areas, and it's Broadcom).

To be quite honest and frank, this is a redundant and fairly well-discussed topic all over this forum.

Question is asked a lot. No AX/6/6E.

Netgear R9000 (rebrand is XR700)

Netgear R7800 (rebrand is XR500 and XR450)

Netgear R7500v2 (or Linksys EA8500)

Most recommended: R7800 or R9000.

Router Recommendations for High Wired Performance
Are router and modem combos compatible with DD-WRT?

Lower-end, but capable DD-WRT routers:

https://wikidevi.wi-cat.ru/TP-LINK_Archer_C7_v5.x

Broadcom-based routers in general are caveat emptor and you should likely avoid them unless you understand the risks involved.
