Choose image file to upload, then go. Script waits for target host to be available on network before attempting to upload file.

Used this on a Mac, should be portable across multiple *nix flavors.

An issue with this approach.

TFTP requires IPs/MAC set for specific devices with ARP and so on, the IP provided is wrong in some cases, so TFTP will never connect using the provided IP unless same HW used by some chance or users edit the script to suit their machines.

Some routers have a TFTP IP around 192.168.11.xxx for instance.

So if anyone downloaded this and tried and it did not work, consider editing the script according to your routers TFTP IP/MAC requirements.

Wondered why the HOST was in the *config* section... smh

Yes, its obvious for experienced users, but I did edit my previous comment to make it clearer that the script may need editing.

But thanks anyway, I see it being being useful for some subset of users if they manage to get it working.

Also its completely missing ARP setup which is needed for some routers, So this will work only for those who dont need it.
