Hello,

I have a WDR3600 running with DD-WRT v3.0-r43261 std (05/26/20) and since today one of four android mobiles get an authentication error everytime.

Security is WPA/WPA 2 Personal with AES and AES+TKIP on second try. Firewall is disabled.

Router+Mobile phone has been rebooted.

What can be the reason ?

Why are you using mixed authentication configurations? WPA2 personal with AES should be what you are using. Also no idea why you are still on a build from last year, you should consider upgrading.

P.S. You may have to "forget network" and re-connect as well, but your configuration is not advised.

I have that same router and have not had a problem like that.

It also could be the android phones, or do you have a restricted number of clients?

there is no restriction of clients..

Thanks for the update Link. My Router is now on DD-WRT v3.0-r46979 std (06/21/21) with WPA2 Personal and AES only.
I will test again later today and report it here.

I have testet neighbors mobile and the authentication error still happens .. I have removed the wifi profile on the phone and reentered password. No luck.

I have set security to WPA Personal+AES and the connection was stable for 2 hours. Now the mobile has auth error on WPA, too.

You should be using WPA2+AES.

Then there is likely something misconfigured in your basic / advanced wireless settings that is causing the issue.

Since 4 hours the mobile is successfully logged in.

So I think it was a client issue.
