Router/Version: Netgear WNR3500L v2
Status: Totally can't boot
Errors: Can't boot after flash via ssh
The Netgear WNR3500L v2 can't boot on any version newer than 6/10/2021. Router stay on begin and totally won't to start. Probably it not depend of nvram data. When I can't start router I'm restore it via button on case. Device can't start still. Developpers erased build from 6/13/2021 from server. That was last good build for low end routers like Netgear based on MIPS. Actually I must stay with 6/10/21 build and router is usable.
I'm dump start procedure when is boot problem.

Ok, I have been trying to transition from Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r46446 std (04/24/21) with two perfect guest VLANS. I have two other routers with similar setups. I was able to get the guest VLANS (14 and 15) working but when I try to connect to the main wireless interface for the home network, I cant get an IP on the trunk port (2). As soon as I switch to another port, main network works but of course the guest vlans dont. Playing all day and can't figure it out. Are VLANS supposed to be 100% working?

Previous/Reset: 46958/No
Mode/Status: AP, Repeater Bridge, and AP with WDS
Issues/Errors: WDS works only withtout wifi encription
I tried three modes and all worked fine. The performance of WDS is absolutely what I dreamed, so I am looking forward to the day when we can use WDS with WPA2.
Router/Version: Netgear WNDR3700v3

Previous/Reset: 46854 / No reset
Mode/Status: Gateway
Issues/Errors: Fails to get IP from ISP
Wrestled with it for 30 minutes then after running out of swear words reverted to 46854.
Of the things I tried in between swearing the update changed the MAC I had set on the WAN side and if memory serves it was the same MAC as the LAN side, but resetting the wan MAC to what I had recorded had no effect.
Ran out of time reverted the version and restored the config and everything is working again. Will try another version in the future.

So I did a little more digging tonight. Since I couldn't pull an IP wirelessly on the main network, I decided to go back to factory settings and see what would happen. I couldnt pull an IP on the default dd-wrt wireless interface with DHCP turned on.
Sorry to necro this thread but I wanted to bring this up in case anyone has a WNDR4500v1
This build will brick your WNDR4500v1. DO NOT FLASH THIS TO A NETGEAR WNDR4500V1 IT WILL BRICK THAT MODEL OF ROUTER!!!
Found this out as I was trying to track down a particular bug for this model of router until i came across this build. _________________ For people who are new to the dd-wrt forums >> http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html#rtfm
