DD-WRT v3.0-r46788 std (05/28/21)

I can put in the openvpn client requirements and get that working just fine. Work well.

Problem is if the router reboots it gets into a boot loop and just continuously reboots. It might ping a few times then just goes down again.

This only occurs when OpenVPN Client is turned on and a reboot occurs.

It is pretty bad and I have recovered a few times by unplugging ethernet and it seems to stabilize. This last time I ended up resetting config to default with the reset button on the router somehow?

Unfortunately you are posting in the wrong forum (I have it transferred to the right forum).

To get the best out of DDWRT and the forum read the forum guidelines with helpful pointers:
https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=324087

If you have not already read the forum guidelines, please do !!

Upgrade to the latest build 46949

From CLI (telnet/putty) reset with:
Code:
nvram erase && reboot

Put settings in manually, never restore from a backup file (to a different build)

Show which OpenVPN settings you are using (screenshot of OpenVPN status page), describe how the router is setup (network).

OpenVPN documentation see the links in my signature at the bottom

It happened to me too. Switching to Vanilla wifi drivers fixed it.
