Upgraded WRT1200AC v1's from r46885 to r46949 using Brave 1.10.97 (64-bit) running on Linux Mint 20.1 OS hardwired via Cat6.
Successful update and reboot. No reset, nothing disabled prior to update, uptime approx 2 hrs, wired/wireless connected, vpn up immediately (Expressvpn). I do not use NAS. SFE, QoS and IPv6 are always disabled. OpenVPN client/DNSMasq and radios always enabled. I do not have any Apple devices.
Kernel Version Linux 4.9.272 #2701 SMP Sun Jun 13 04:56:03 +07 2021 armv7l
No issues with a routine update session. Was not timing the update but it did seem to take a bit longer to complete the update (20 - 30 seconds??). Smooth update with nothing else noticed. Running well for me.
The 2.4Ghz WLan1 was very slow and also the range was not good. I use 2 Repeater but the Signal range was soooo bad. I order some new antennas and I hope after install the new one, it will getting better.
UPDATE:
after install this new Firmware, the connection starts fast, but after some minutes it slow down again. After restart the Router the Wlan connection shows "connected without internet". My PC has connection to the internet, after some minutes also the wlan was ok.
I hope the 2.4Ghz is getting better with the next releases and you can find the problem
I use a Samsung S10+ for test....as client
This router is so good but the 2.4Ghz is horrible !!!!!!!!

Upgraded all routers r46854 -> r46949 IE11 no reset
Done two days ago. Master 3200 went to sleep on WLAN & WiFi after 40 hours. Last log entry;
Jun 15 00:53:52 45.131.194.3 process_monitor cyclic NTP Update success (servers 2.pool.ntp.org 212.18.3.19 88.99.174.22)
Nothing else till reboot this AM. GUI was still accessible so simply did a reboot from Management and all came up OK.
Had similar problem with R46885 and reverted back one build. Did not revert this time as with the reboot all appears to be running correctly still after 4 hours. In both fails it occured on the second day running. _________________ Starlink & DSL -> TPLink TL-R470T+
