The VPN build for this router contains OpenVPN which as we all know is very CPU intensive. Would it be possible to get a VPN build using WireGuard instead of OpenVPN, or is that even possible considering how old this hardware is and the limited flash size.

I have two of these that I would like to set up to send data from two remote weather stations, but I would like to do it via WireGuard as the CPUs are totally maxed-out with OVPN.

Not really expecting this to be possible, but just throwing it out there.

Yup, that totally kills it! I was pretty certain there was a good reason why WG was never included for the 54GL. Now I know. Thanks for your reply.
