But I do have CTF enabled. What I don't have is FA.
Right now I don't know if the reason why I'm unable to get the same ideal speed over wifi (as I'm getting on cable now) is related to this FA feature and/or any other settings..
How fast is the WLAN now?
the 850Mbit you measured via cable are not possible via WLAN (at least not with 80Mhz 2x2)
that has a gross data rate of max 866Mbit
under optimal conditions this corresponds to a net data rate of ~550Mbit
as said also show the WLAN status page with a connected 5ghz client

Hello ho1Aetoo!
Indeed! That's what I would get with the native firmware mayybeee a bit more up to 600-620 Mbps but regardless 550 Mbps would be great.
I've attached a screenshot with the speeds.
The first entry is by cable so pretty cool there. The second one is Wifi based.
I'm also attaching a second screenshot as requested with the connected client (my laptop to the 5Ghz).
last, not to mention clients are also playing a big role, in terms of their compatibility and capability too... _________________ Atheros

Hello Alozaros,
I didn't know that it was bad, I used it as it was something I saw in the Microsoft store. Nevertheless I've ticket the box you mentioned and I've attached a screenshot of the result.
Regarding the wiki you attached - I'm not yet done with all the reading.. nor do I understand it entirely. I did start reading it a couple of days ago. However, in the meantime, should I use the commands listed there? These commands I mean.
I'm pretty much the only one I guess..."OtterlandDeco" is also mine, it's a tp-link m5 mesh system I have but it is disconnected and not used now (It only has AC power plugged in).

then best to search again
otherwise these are ideal conditions, in this case in Europe it is best to use 36 lower lower or 52 lower lower
Let's see - I downloaded iperf but 64bit throws an error. 32bit works ok. I'm not really sure what I'm doing but here are the results for the commands you've written one command after the next:

(so 52 to avoid the mesh)
Hello ho1Aetoo,
Ok - I didn't know that so now I've changed the Regulatory Domain to Europe, channel 52 and extension channel to lower lower.
I've also disconnected the main Deco so now only the other two appear on the survey but they're not doing anything (not that they were before) so here's the new screenshot.
Just to get something straight please - because I didn't understand completely - is the missing FA and/or the other wlan advanced settings playing a definitive role here any more?
What I mean is - if I get another beta version with FA and/or I change any other advanced wlan settings will these aspects improve the wifi and the overall functionality?
