Downloads: (DD-WRT website) HTTPS & FTP (try another if a link does not work)

CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (or 'curl -k {file URL} -o {file}') with http (not https) or ftp. Then 'write {file} linux'.

Repository: Trac SVN changelog since last build r46836 (GitHub mirror)

Notes:
OpenVPN 2.5.2: Guides, Server, PBR, Reverse PBR, Client (see second post), Kill Switch, update tips, scripts and more.
WireGuard 1.0.20210219/Tools: Guides, Client, Server, Advanced, PBR, KS, update tips, scripts & more. Thanks BS & egc!
• CVE-2019-14899 VPN fix (applicability depends on VPN setup) and GUI toggle since r41813.
Experimental build option for Broadcom 8MB+ K2.x devices (limited currently): broadcom_K3X_mipsel32r1
• Broadcom MIPS devices are now on kernel 4.4. • Support added for TP-Link Archer C8 v2 and v3.
SmartDNSMiniDLNA • Unbound 1.13.1 • CoovaChilli 1.6 • Tor 0.4.5.8 • OpenSSL 1.1.1k • Dnsmasq 2.85 • Privoxy 3.0.32
In-kernel Samba (ksmbd 3.3.9+): default min/max versions changed. • WSD updateANTFS/NTFS3 kernel mode driver++.
• Added swconfig support for Broadcom devices.
CVE-2020-26147, CVE-2020-24586, CVE-2020-24587 & CVE-2020-24588 (Fragattack) fixed.
• "Assign WAN port to Switch" feature removed to be reworked in future release: 46782

Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
DNScrypt 1.95 can still be used in the GUI, but v2 (not compatible) requires Golang and thus Entware. #6246
WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work
in some configurations for certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Use client or repeater instead.
VAPs not working at boot fixed for unbridged VAPs in 40562 - 40566. Effective startup commands discussion thread is here.
If start-up scripts do not work from USB add a delay, e.g. wait script or 'sleep 25'.
Broadcom ARM devices if 5 GHz channels are missing, via Telnet/SSH: 'nvram set brcm_unlock=1' 'nvram commit' 'reboot'
Show us your findings with steps to reproduce, configuration, output, logs and important information below!

Important:
• For issues provide applicable info: 'dmesg', 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages', syslog, klog, serial, strace, tcpdump, wireshark etc.
• Any firewall NAT or WAN issues, show output: 'iptables -vnL', 'iptables -t nat -vnL', 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' and /tmp/.ipt file.
• Search SVN tickets & discuss in forum before opening. Before reporting: reset & manually set up, not restore from a backup.

Router/Version: Netgear WNDR4000

Previous/Reset: 44715/yup
Mode/Status: AP/working
Issues/Errors: GUI sometimes stops responding

I've had issues since Dec updating k3x bcm devices, where the GUI and telnet would become inaccessible (which is why this was previously on a Nov 2020 build). I expected the same here, so was prepared (and had intended) to hook up serial to debug, but this build's GUI is working, including after reset. It does though sometimes stops responding (both either changes tabs or using Save/Apply) and I have to refresh. Better than before though Wink

I see some new options here and there; I've been messing w/ openwrt devices mostly the past year. Smile Need to brush up on this new BCM swconfig usage...the GUI and CLI weren't jiving in setting up this AP to include the WAN port. I moved the WAN to VLAN1, but swconfig still showed:
    VLAN 1: ports: 0 1 2 3 8t
    VLAN 2: ports: 4 8
until I blanked VLAN '2' (which made it another '0'). But now it just has:
    VLAN 1: ports: 0 1 2 3 4 8t
...so I should be good. Wink

Previous/Reset: r46733/no
Mode/Status: WAP, wg-client, WAN disabled, DHCP-server
Issues/Errors: Not safely usable.

Something is still wrong.
'Apply' (for sure in Setup/Basic Setup, less likely in Administration/Management) sends my router into nirwana: the GUI will not come back.

It seems safe to use 'Save' and reboot the router with the GUI.

That's about all I know now.

Back to r46733.

Am aware VLAN configuration is changing to 'Switch Config' - testing using a spare Asus RT-N16:

Router/Version: Asus RT-N16
File/Kernel: dd-wrt.v24-46854_NEWD-2_K3.x-big-RT-N16.trx / Linux 4.4.269 #9842 Thu Jun 3 02:16:05 +07 2021 mips
Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r46446 big (04/24/21) / no reset on upgrade, restored factory defaults after and performed 2 further reboots
Mode/Status: Defaults (AP) only - just trying new VLAN configuration
Issues/Errors: Observation - seeing VLAN IDs > 4096 (16000 on port5vlans after reboot also VLAN IDs in the 10s of thousands if I add a single tagged VLAN 11 to port 4)

Before upgrade (on r46446):

root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show 2>/dev/null | grep -E port[0-9]+vlans= | sort
port0vlans=1
port1vlans=0
port2vlans=0
port3vlans=0
port4vlans=0
port5vlans=0 1 16
root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show 2>/dev/null | grep -E vlan[0-9]+ports= | sort
vlan0ports=1 2 3 4 5*
vlan1ports=4 3 2 1 8*
vlan2ports=0 8
root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show 2>/dev/null | grep -E vlan[0-9]+hwname= | sort
vlan0hwname=et0
vlan1hwname=et0
vlan2hwname=et0

Immediately after upgrade (to r46854):

root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show 2>/dev/null | grep -E port[0-9]+vlans= | sort
port0vlans=1
port1vlans=0
port2vlans=0
port3vlans=0
port4vlans=0
port5vlans=0 1 16000
port6vlans=
root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show 2>/dev/null | grep -E vlan[0-9]+ports= | sort
vlan0ports=1 2 3 4 5*
vlan1ports=4 3 2 1 8*
vlan2ports=0 8
root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show 2>/dev/null | grep -E vlan[0-9]+hwname= | sort
vlan0hwname=et0
vlan1hwname=et0
vlan2hwname=et0

After adding tagged VLAN 11 to port 4 (leaving VLAN 1 on port 4 [as is shown in the web UI, although this is inconsistent with NVRAM settings above - which shows VLAN 0]):

root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show 2>/dev/null | grep -E port[0-9]+vlans= | sort
port0vlans=2 18000 19000 20000
port1vlans=1 18000 19000 20000
port2vlans=1 18000 19000 20000
port3vlans=1 18000 19000 20000
port4vlans=1 3 16000 18000 19000 20000
port5vlans=1 2 3 16000
root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show 2>/dev/null | grep -E vlan[0-9]+ports= | sort
vlan0ports=1 2 3 4 5*
vlan1ports=4 3 2 1 8*
vlan2ports=0 8
root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show 2>/dev/null | grep -E vlan[0-9]+hwname= | sort
vlan0hwname=et0
vlan1hwname=et0
vlan2hwname=et0

Router/Version: Netgear WNR3500L v2
Kernel: Linux 4.4.269 #9830 Thu Jun 3 02:03:23 +07 2021 mips
Reset: No, not this time
Mode: Internet gateway, wifi ap, dnsmasq server
Status: Working
Issues: kern.warn kernel: br0: received packet on eth1 with own address as source address repeated many times, poor WAN performance. Internet speed 260 mbit/s max, 310 - 315 mbit/s with ISP modem connected to network card via rj45)
Uptime: more than 48h

Device is updated via ssh. Generally router works good, it's issue with internet speed and MAC address. Actually I'm rebuild my firewall and try to increase generic performance of device.
