Hey guys, hope everyone is well. The other night virgin media was down in my area and i lost control of my devices like smart bulbs and amazon devices. So now my question is my mobile phone has unlimted data . How can i share that data thru my r7800 nighthawk . Is this possible ? Thx.
I have often wondered about trying this myself. Nice to see there is a wiki about it. However after reading it, I see that my build (44719) for the EA8500 doesn't include the required kernel modules (cdc_ether.ko and rndis_host.ko). Has anyone built these modules for the 8500 that I could fly in and insert? _________________ Linksys EA8500 (Internet Gateway, AP/VAP) - DD-WRT r53562

See attachment do not know if it is the right build
insmod: cannot insert 'cdc_ether.ko': unknown symbol in module
insmod: cannot insert 'rndis_host.ko': unknown symbol in module
I am guessing these were built against a different kernel version. Thanks much for the effort. I will hold onto these and try again once I upgrade my dd-wrt on this router, which should be soon. _________________ Linksys EA8500 (Internet Gateway, AP/VAP) - DD-WRT r53562
