[WARNING]: This thread is only for feedback on this beta release for developers and the community's benefit.
DO NOT flash this beta release unless you understand the risks involved and device specificrecovery methods.
Avoid discussions! Create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• DNScrypt 1.95 can still be used in the GUI, but v2 (not compatible) requires Golang and thus Entware. #6246
• WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices(only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work
in some configurations for certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Use client or repeater instead.
• VAPs not working at bootfixed for unbridged VAPs in40562 - 40566. Effective startup commandsdiscussion thread is here.
• If start-up scripts do not work from USB add a delay, e.g. wait script or 'sleep 25'.
• Broadcom ARM devices if 5 GHz channels are missing, via Telnet/SSH: 'nvram set brcm_unlock=1' 'nvram commit' 'reboot'
• Show us your findings with steps to reproduce, configuration, output, logs and important information below!
Important:
• For issues provide applicable info: 'dmesg', 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages', syslog, klog, serial, strace, tcpdump, wireshark etc.
• Any firewall NAT or WAN issues, show output: 'iptables -vnL', 'iptables -t nat -vnL', 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' and /tmp/.ipt file.
• Search SVN tickets & discuss in forum before opening. Before reporting: reset & manually set up, not restore from a backup.
• Please include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, CB, WDS, Mesh) & relevant configuration information.

Router/Version:Asus RT-N18U (rev. A1)
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r46733 std (05/21/21)
Kernel: Linux 4.4.268 #3143 Fri May 21 13:14:56 +07 2021 armv7l
Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r45592 std (01/28/21)
Mode: WAN @ DHCP, Wireless @ AP
Status: Working (Not 24/7; Not using IPv6, VAP, VPN; Using NAS & USB; Unbound enabled)
Reset: NO reset during firmware upgrade but cold boot
Quick and dirty report this build:
Enabling CTF seemed to affect DDNS if not Port-Forwarding in NAT. Could not access my website via DDNS. Other than this, everything is working as usual.
BTW, if you wanna try CTF in Basic Setup, better cold boot your router after it rebooted once, or it might continue to reboot endlessly after hitting <Apply Settings>.
edit:
Does this apply to DD-WRT's Cut-Through Forwarding?
NAT Acceleration, specifically the CTF Cut Through Forwarding portion can conflict with a few other common features. You should consider disable NAT acceleration or turn it to off if you experience any of the problems below.
QoS Restrictions
....
Port Forwarding Not Compatible
NAT Acceleration is reported to not be compatible with port forwarding feature. This means that when you have the NAT Acceleration, you will typically unable to host gaming sessions from your home. So you will not be able to host any game servers such as Minecraft, MMO, or First person shooters since players will not be able to connect to it.
IP Traffic Monitoring and Parental Control
...
Issues with Mirroring of Streaming Devices
...
edit 2:
Found an interesting ticket, which could be a solution, from Asus-Merlin firmware:

Testing VAPs with this build it's limited 1 VAP per Band. Currently with build r44483 I have 2 VAPs on 5Ghz Band at Off Site One. I made some changes to make this Build work. Still setting up this Test Build on a spare R7000... _________________ Home Network on Telus 1Gb PureFibre - 10GbE Copper Backbone

Big Thanks to BS!
Encountered something really strange.
First some background, this is as secondary router connected to the family router and just setup as standard gateway.
Now the weird part: after a reboot I could no longer access my router from my Ethernet connected PC (no GUI no Telnet) and had no internet, lights on the router were on and the router seemed working.
I searched for my paper-clip to reset which is on my desk, my desk computer is on the primary router and for a last chance before resetting I tried to login to the E2000 from the WAN (I had remote administration enabled) and I could login without a problem.
What happened:
While the E2000 rebooted the PC attached (Windows 10) had acquired an IP address from the primary router!
After renewing the IP address all was well.
So while rebooting the switch had a direct connection between WAN and LAN.
Maybe I just noticed this and it has been already there maybe an update in Windows makes my PC acquire an IP address very fast?

Anyway if you encounter a non reachable router after reboot check /renew the IP address of your LAN client
Yes, I also encountered this anomaly while updating to this latest DD-WRT r46733 yesterday on both the Asus RT-N66U and TP-Link Archer C7 v2. Although, I didn't investigate the reason, but both routers required a cycling of the power in order for proper UI operation. Thanks for reporting your findings.
Router/Version: R7000
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r46733 std (05/21/21)
Reset: Reset to defaults during GUI upgrade
After the reset, I only configured NAS share on 4TB drive (ext4) to test Samba.
Unfortunately, performance issue persists. Samba transfer between 4-7 MB/s using SMBv3 over gigabit ethernet wired connection. This is a show stopper for me, so reverted back to r41986, which gets ~32 MB/s.

Router still reboots spontaneously when any combination of CTF and FA is enabled.
With SFE it is works without issues.
