Just wondering what the steps would be to install DD-WRT on the above router. I was thinking on doing a GUI admin reset to factory. Then installing V. 3.0 (beta) build 44715 of DD-WRT firmware using the GUI firmware upgrade option. Is this the quickest way to install DD-WRT on this router?

44715 is very old build. You can download recent builds for your device from https://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2024/
If it fails to install via web gui then try from recovery mode instead.

So no special hard resetting or anything just everything from the OEM Web GUI to start?

First reset OEM firmware, then install dd-wrt and finally do another reset from dd-wrt.

Just keep in mind that the 5GHz radio only offers Auto channel selection as the Quantenna hardware is not fully supported and you may run into issues with that radio, especially disabling it.

I have not been able to install dd-wrt, the webUI appears corrupt. Which is best way to install the dd-wrt firmware? Regular asus admin webpage, tftp or any other method?

Thanks in advance but I'm not being able to do it properly.

I answer myself, after reinstalling oem software, it is necessary a hard reset to flash the dd-wrt firmware and be patient til finishing the reboot.
