Downloads: (DD-WRT website) HTTPS & FTP (try another if a link does not work)

CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (or 'curl -k {file URL} -o {file}') with http (not https) or ftp. Then 'write {file} linux'.

Repository: Trac SVN changelog since last build r46604 (GitHub mirror)

Notes:
OpenVPN 2.5.2: Guides, Server, PBR, Reverse PBR, Client (see second post), Kill Switch, update tips, scripts and more.
WireGuard 1.0.20210219/Tools: Guides, Client, Server, Advanced, PBR, KS, update tips, scripts & more. Thanks BS & egc!
• CVE-2019-14899 VPN fix (applicability depends on VPN setup) and GUI toggle since r41813.
Experimental build option for Broadcom 8MB+ K2.x devices (limited currently): broadcom_K3X_mipsel32r1
• Broadcom MIPS devices are now on kernel 4.4. • Support added for TP-Link Archer C8 v2 and v3.
SmartDNSMiniDLNA • Unbound 1.13.1 • CoovaChilli 1.6 • Tor 0.4.5.7 • OpenSSL 1.1.1k • Dnsmasq 2.85 • Privoxy 3.0.32
In-kernel Samba (ksmbd 3.3.9+): default min/max versions changed. • WSD updateANTFS/NTFS3 kernel mode driver++.
Added CTF (Cut Through Forwarding) and swconfig support to Broadcom devices.
CVE-2020-26147, CVE-2020-24586, CVE-2020-24587, & CVE-2020-24588 (Fragattack) fixed.

Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
DNScrypt 1.95 can still be used in the GUI, but v2 (not compatible) requires Golang and thus Entware. #6246
WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work
in some configurations for certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Use client or repeater instead.
VAPs not working at boot fixed for unbridged VAPs in 40562 - 40566. Effective startup commands discussion thread is here.
If start-up scripts do not work from USB add a delay, e.g. wait script or 'sleep 25'.
Broadcom ARM devices if 5 GHz channels are missing, via Telnet/SSH: 'nvram set brcm_unlock=1' 'nvram commit' 'reboot'

@kernel-panic69

the changelog "since last build" link is broken, it displays the error: "Unsupported version control system "svn": No module named _fs"

That is something outside of my control. Only tickets are showing up at present when you pull up the timeline. Thanks for the heads up, I will inquire.

UPDATE: fixed

Router/Version: Netgear R7000
File: netgear-r7000-webflash.bin
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r46640 std (05/13/21) (prev. DD-WRT v3.0-r46380 std (04/17/21))
Kernel: forgot to copy, sorry Sad
Mode: Gateway, Wifi disabled, Wireguard for external access, WAN to DSL, Keep Alive reboot 5:00 in the morning
Reset: No
Status: No Access to Internet. No connection via PPPoE, WAN IP stays at 0.0.0.0.
Tried turning on / off SFE, FA, Wireguard... to no avail.
Did not change anything on the setting page since years.
Connection Type PPPoE, User and Password not changed, T-Online VLAN 7 support ENABLED, since... T-Online customer, they need VLAN ID 7 Very Happy.
Tried several reboots, tried to find some hints in logfile, to no avail.
My line is only capable of IPv4, therefore I did not enable IPv6 ever.

Giving up, reroll to 46380 fixed this.

Find attached dmesg and cat /var/log/messages

Any ideas what else to try?

Reset?: N
Status: Not working, no WAN IP address, last working version is r46442

I *think* it's some sort of WAN/LAN port assignment problem. When I plug my PC into a LAN port, I get an IP from an upstream dhcp server even though this router is configured as a gateway.

I'll attach the serial logs from a working and non-working version.

I noticed when I flashed 46625 alpha that the port order is backwards on E4200v1 in the webUI. LAN port 1 shows up as WAN in webUI; I did a full reset because it stopped working like it should configured as a switch. I have not inquired about it or spent time looking at a workaround. Could be due to the addition of swconfig support added to Broadcom firmware images.

Router: Netgear WNDR4000 (x4)
Firmware: dd-wrt.v24-46640_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega-nv64k
Reset: no
Issues: On my WNDR4000 acting as the router, it is unable to get a DHCP address from my ISP despite releasing and renewing. Same for 46604. Had to go back to 46446 to get the DHCP to successfully get an IP address.

The only thing odd in my setup is that I use MAC ADDRESS CLONE (cloning my old router's MAC address). Could that not be working now?

For the other 3 WNDR4000 acting as access points, working fine.

Try it without the mac cloning; you may need to power cycle the modem and router separately.

EDIT: Also, refer to the posts above about the RT-N12D. Ports may be out-of-order.

does this ddwrt version include fixes for the most current Fragattack vulnerabilities?

Fixed the OPs of all release posts since it's too much trouble for people to pay attention to the OP changes, highlight the CVEs and search the web. Keep in mind, this post and the previous one will disappear at some point.

Yeah, I think it's a WAN port ordering issue, as I have my access points assign WAN port to the switch, and happened to have one of them plugged in my network via WAN and it couldn't talk to the network. Once I changed to a LAN port, it was fine.
