No, the GUI don't have the option to set the vid.

PS. Line 1 and line 3 is not needed.

Netgear R7800, R7500V2, Linksys EA8500

Don't get the R7500V1 as it have a non working 5Ghz.

Prices and availability vary from country to country.

I've followed your suggestion and bought a R9000 instead or Archer C7. I've to re-create similar ISP config to get on internet.
Can someone help me ?

R9000 is runng dd-wrt 48393

Italian ISP config requirements :
PPPOE with VLAN 835 for Internet and VLAN 836 for Voip and all with IEEE 802.1p
MTU will be set to 1492, NAT will be enable and encapsulation will be LLC.
The ISP provide fiber cable with SFP , I've connected through tp-link media converter that convert FC to RJ45.

Thanks for your help.

I also understood that my actual router is a low cost router, so if you have any suggestion about a mid level router to buy for running DD-WRT , I will follow your guidelines.
The only direction you can go from here is R7800/XR450/XR500, maybe an R7500v2. But yours is not a "low-end" TP-Link as it has 128MB of RAM and is not a TL-WR1043* series IMO. https://deviwiki.com/wiki/TP-LINK_Archer_C7_v5.x

Last question is : this configuration cannot be done all through web interface ?

Not on Atheros. That is still a solution yet to be implemented.

Hi,
probably you didn't read my last post where I'm asking help to do the same config made with your support on my new router : Netgear R9000.
Thanks.

Sorry, I guess I missed that there were already two pages going on this thread when I commented; you've already started a new thread, so no further discussion in this one should be required. Also, I have already stated what routers I would recommend in this case. I won't recommend an R9000 or XR700. Good luck.
