Hello,

I see on Wireless Status Page, that my 5GHz has 59% and 2.4GHz has 79%.

Could this be the reason for a slower speed?

Following are all my settings etc.

What DD-WRT firmware build are you using?

You will want to try to make sure your WiFi settings line up with what is suggested here:
https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=324014

Also, what are the speeds you are getting and what were you expecting? You can use iPerf3 for testing your network which is mentioned in the link above as well.

Lastly, can you try providing us the channel/site survey images thru a different way? I am unable to increase the zoom without making it blurry for those images.

Where is the AP located? It appears that all the clients are far away from it. You should get a signal above -40 with a client in the same room.

Am using - DD-WRT v3.0-r46446 std (04/24/21)

Settings were a combo of - https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=324014
plus settings recommended for Vanilla on some earlier posts.

In the same room when I'm just a few feet away from router, I get SNR of 46-49

The router is in the same place as before. The wireless status Channel Quality used to be 90+, now its at ~60

disable QCA Q-Boost / TDMA

and RTFM

https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/QCA_wireless_settings#QCA_Q-Boost_.2F_TDMA__support

Quote:
Recommended Setting: Disable

This setting is only available to routers with QCA99xx chipsets.

This is a completely experimental setting and has been found to significantly lower channel quality and add extra network overhead to perform TDMA. Your client must have the ability to take advantage of this feature. Right now, DON'T play with this unless you really know what you are doing; you will impact the wifi network and spectrum of other devices in the radius of the router using Q-boost. Initial testing shows this feature starts off fine, and then starts to impact wifi & spectrum in a negative fashion (Floods the network & spectrum with overhead noise).

The Channel Survey and Site Survey you attached are for the 5GHz spectrum, not 2.4GHz.

Here are the 2.4GHz site and channel surveys. Did you find anything from the 5GHz data?

I would use Channel 11 and lower for 2.4GHz.

How do you have more 5GHz networks in range than 2.4GHz? That is the first time I have seen that. 5GHz channel requires 4 non-overlapping channels, 149-161 for example for VHT 80. I don't see how that would be possible in that environment.

Looked into it, Refreshing the page seemed to include more networks.

Speed Test shows
5GHz - 450 D/L, 320 U/L
2.4GHz - 30 D/L, 25 U/L

Not sure if my 2.4GHz settings are proper.

Before this Netgear R7800, I had TP Link 841ND.
with dd-wrt and 200/200 service i used to get 150 D/L and 125 U/L

So, not sure why Netgear R7800 has such slow 2.4GHz speeds.

If you are located in Europe, use channel 13+lower.

There are two neighbours that cause problems on channel 4 and 7.

Have you followed @ho1Aetoo advice and disabled QCA Q-boost?
