I was curious if anyone has worked on or attempted to flash custom firmware over the openWRT firmware on the Orbi AX6000 wifi 6 routers
I am finally replacing my R7000 because I need a router with a 2.5gbps WAN port to support my new ISP speeds. So I just picked up the business version, the SXK80 (was on sale over the RBK850 residential model).
I've been trying to look up as much as I can on it, and I figured this would be the best place to ask incase anyone else has tried writing Firmware for this.

It's not currently supported, and to add support, a hardware donation or the router detection information must be done. This is not a new requirement. Also, just because OpenWRT has ported a firmware for it doesn't necessarily mean anything other than a blind port can be done, which isn't always a good idea.

I intended to get all the information I can for Router Support Detection. I was just checking here first to see if anyone else has already started as I hadn't seen anything in a search about it.
