I am using a TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1 router.
It is connected with a 16GB Pen-drive.

Since update, whenever I want to access the public shared location, it is asking for username and password! It is happening from my both Win 7 and Win 10 pcs.

Which is normal. You have to add a username/password for your shares.

yep 'problem solved!' ...but you left your router unpatched for the last vulnerabilities...strongly advised to use the last firmware version..
as well there is a reason to ask for user/pass for samba shares...see KP69 advise above, its normal on the new firmware builds...

Status: OK
Issues: None so far
update: CLI
reset: NO
status: Operational/Buggy 12h+
errors: Nothing new on 1043v2 and 740v1

On my R7800 I just moved from DDWRT to Vanilla, still the same WiFi drops on various devices, very randomly, mainly on Windows 10 20H2 and on iPhones, but very random...
Wi Fi on 1043v2 behaves rock solid...so, it must be a function that is present on R7800, but not on 1043v2 i need to investigate...both running almost similar WiFi config... will do R7800 reset to see if this helps...

are no longer happening.

Router/Version: TP-Link Archer C7 V5 working as Wireless Bridge

About 10 disconnect / reconnects in 4 Minutes.
Actually r46446 is the best release for me

Update method: FF
Router/Version: Netgear R9000 Nighthawk X10
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r46446 std (04/24/21)
Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r46380 / Yes
Mode/Status: Gateway / Working Normally / Clock 1700mhz
Issues/Errors:

Two issues. The first is that ntpclient refuses to operate. I’ve tried leaving the server field blank, tried us.pool.ntp.org, tried an internal ntp server (which I use for everything inside my lan), and even a cron job. None work. I can log in via ssh and issue “ntpclient us.pool.ntp.org” and get a timesync, but it never works automatically. Granted, I’ve only had this router for a week but this has never been an issue with any other router I’ve used with ddwrt (wrt3200acm among others).

The second issue is a weird display in the sys-info screen. When the auto refresh occurs, the memory display gets corrupted. I’ll attach a screenshot.
