Hey all,

I really need some help sorting out my router by either going back to a stock firmware or an updated version of dd wrt. I have tried updating the firmware via wifi but it gets to 2% and loses signal. I have then tried doing this via TFTP it also shows successful but when I reboot log back in I'm still stuck on the same version as before with the same ethernet issue. I've spent the best part of 3 days reading and trying a lot of what has been advised in the below thread:

https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=305884&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=75

I have installed dd-wrt v3-r37305(10/10/eighteen) and since doing this the ethernet ports have stopped working (no lights on the router when connected). This was not so much of an issue previously as all my devices were connected via WIFI.

I now want to connect my main desktop via the ethernet port however if I do this I do not get any connectivity. I would be really grateful if someone can please help me sort this issue out.

Thank you in advance.

I don't see anything in the wiki about this:

https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/TP_Link_Archer_C9

BUT, I definitely wouldn't suggest that old of a build on this device, and I wouldn't suggest any in the router database.

It looks as if you are reading through the fix for the jffs issue, I presume. Only thing I can think of is having to go into the webUI or CLI over telnet or ssh via wifi and sort out the port assignments and vlans

https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Switched_Ports

WAN is supposed to be VLAN2, LAN ports are supposed to be VLAN1.

Hey buddy, thank you for your message and advice. I will read through that link and see how I get on. I will check the setting in case there is a configuration issue.

The part I was focused on was from 'TheDoc' about recovery process from a bad dd-wrt which is what I thought mine is.
