Upgraded WRT1200AC v1's from r46239 to r46259 using Brave 1.10.91 (64-bit) running on Linux Mint 20.1 OS hardwired via Cat6.

Successful update and reboot. No reset, nothing disabled prior to update, uptime approx 2 hrs, wired/wireless connected, vpn up immediately (Expressvpn). I do not use NAS. SFE, QoS and IPv6 are always disabled. OpenVPN client/DNSMasq and radios always enabled. I do not have any Apple devices.

Kernel Version Linux 4.9.264 #2528 SMP Sat Apr 3 02:52:34 +07 2021 armv7l

No issues with a routine update session. I replaced my old modem with a new modem that has a feature called "Active Queue Management (AQM)" built in. I've disabled QoS to better determine the effectiveness of the feature. Noticeably faster page loading and I'm really satisfied with the modems performance so far. Also runs much cooler than my old modems. Works perfectly with my 1200 routers. I may enable QoS later to see if it will improve performance even more. Modem was a bit pricey but a gift card helped much. =) https://www.amazon.com/MOTOROLA-MB8611-Ethernet-Approved-Comcast/dp/B08DDFKXKC

File/Kernel: ddwrt-linksys-wrt1900acsv2-webflash.bin / Linux 4.9.264 #2528 SMP Sat Apr 3 02:52:34 +07 2021 armv7l

Issues/Errors: Unlike our rock-solid ACSv1, this ACSv2 had been having issues for the past week when on builds r46177 and r46220. Sorry I didn't post in the r46220 thread. I'd thought it might be related to excessive temperatures (ACSv2 CPU had been running 2 to 5 C hotter than ACSv1) and I'm still waiting for delivery of an external usb fan. Although the fan hasn't arrived yet, I'm happy to report that the ACSv2 temps are back in line with the ACSv1 temps on this r46259 build (actually even cooler, with no settings changes)! Both units were co-located and connected to the same ethernet switch and the same UPS for today's testing. More importantly, webif has stayed up for over an hour, and there have been no wifi or authentication issues. Smile I'm cautiously optimistic, but so far so good. Thank you!

Upgraded 3200ACM from previous version, no reset of settings.

My use case is working fine and without issues, including DNSSEC and OpenVPN client.

Will edit if any issues are found.

Router: wrt3200acm
Firmware: R46259

Similar to R46220 this build also drops wifi device connections, and over time traffic hangs, or stops flowing. Longer the builds run the more unstable they become.

R46239 is a step in the right direction. Reverting back for now. R46239 is still buggy, but most stable of the 3 latest builds.

Without syslog, klog outputs or wifi/dns configurations, this can just be attributed to user error.

This comment is as useful as "my configuration doesn't work with this build and I don't care".

Router setup:
WRT1900ACS V2
All config entered manually

Configuration
Build 46259
OpenVPN - tap mode bridged
Wireguard - 11 clients
Wifi 5GHZ AC-Only WHT80
Wifi 2.4GHZ - Auto Channel NG-Mixed
Security WP2+AES on both radios
Port forwarding utilized for SMTP, IMAP, HTTP and HTTPS (IMAP on non-standard port)

Error Descriptions:
After flash this build also causes httpd fail. I have tried to reproduce - and cannot do it. It seems to be random. I have rebooted 3 times since it occurred the last time. The dmesg error is the same as I posted on the 46177 build. (httpd Not tainted ++). After 3rd boot, Router now up without the httpd error for 12 hours. No way of triggering it again so far. Didnt bother to output messages this time, as it is the same as I posted with 46177.

More interestingly, the reported wifi errors, most notably occurring with Apple devices, also occurs with my Samsung Galaxy 9 Plus.
Symptoms: Connects to router at full speed (Fast.com indicating ca 300 mbits). After a while (minutes, not hours) one of two things happen. A: Wifi is reported as connected on the phone, but no throughput, or B: Wifi works, but for some reason the speed is lowered to a throughput of ca 15 mbits. The kernel log is filled up with ....start BA <mac-address> messages.
DMESG output for this is enclosed.

Edit: After ca 12H GUI went all down. Network on all channels was down. The error when GUI down this time, seems to be related to "hostapd not tainted". Still reachable locally on ssh. Enclosed dmesg when all went down as dmesg2.txt.

Edit2:
Network on all channels, as well as GUI crashes after some time. Reverting once more to 45993, where it was stable, although with the WIFI errors that almost everyone describes

Every time you make a post here your comments never label the issues you have with a build. You have to at least connect a device to the router to have a configuration. Its not possible to have a perfect build without any wifi hiccups.
Haha! User error. Your words have no meaning.

Syslog, klog outputs or wifi/dns configurations for what I don't have issues connecting to the internet. The issue is wifi stability. People would pay to have your perfect bullshit build. BS! Argenis has the perfect build you can stop coding now. We now only need security updates 😆.

Router Model: Linksys WRT1900ACS
Firmware Version : DD-WRT v3.0-r46259 std (04/03/21)
Kernel Version : Linux 4.9.264 #2528 SMP Sat Apr 3 02:52:34 +07 2021 armv7l

Flashed using FF 87.0 on a W10Pro, over WiFi came form he 1/3/21 update

Still having issues with the NAS and SMB share (NTSC HDD), needs me to take the HDD to my Windows Laptop and perform a scan and repair. This has been occruing sfor the last several updates and never occurred previously. When its working the NAS is actually quite fast and responsive.

Wifi seems .. better, as does the GUI not freezing within a few minutes.

@Argenis, Justanotherbrokenrouter, & iVitor:

First, a gentle reminder to refer to forum rules, guidelines, etc (linked in my signature).

Second, from the OP of every build release thread as of recent incarnation:

Quote:
Issues:
• Show us your findings with steps to reproduce, configuration, output, logs and important information below!

Important:
• For issues provide applicable info: 'dmesg', 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages', syslog, klog, serial, strace, tcpdump, wireshark etc.
• Any firewall NAT or WAN issues, show output: 'iptables -vnL', 'iptables -t nat -vnL', 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' and /tmp/.ipt file.
• Search SVN tickets & discuss in forum before opening. Before reporting: reset & manually set up, not restore from a backup.
• Please include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, CB, WDS, Mesh) & relevant configuration information.

Without all applicable information, nobody can help you diagnose if it is a user configuration error or if there is a bug somewhere else.

P.S. For folks reporting webUI issues, you should be using FF ESR / FF ESR Portable or Pale Moon / Pale Moon Portable *separate* from your internet traffic. #ijustlovesoundinglikeabrokenrecord

I find myself hesitant to positive post due to the fact that my 1200's, for the most part, have been rock solid. I've had some GUI and wireless issues but mostly they just work well on DD-WRT firmware. With my wife and myself working from home I am amazed at how dependable the 1200's/DD-WRT combo has been. I don't want anyone to think my positive experience is in any way disagreeing/doubting someone's negative results. Both cases are important info that should be shared.

I think it's important for everyone to post negative issues and equally important for the posting of positive results. The data sets combined can help resolve issues more quickly IMHO. Pos/Neg post are not conflicting but rather facts for each individual user and help narrow coding efforts of BS and others. Just saying . . .

Ok, I guess I have to drop the gavel on avoiding discussions, especially if it's going to be a pissing contest. Keep in mind some content in this thread may disappear at any time. Fair warning.
