First and foremost, I'm very new to this. As such, I'm hoping I've just been unable to find a very simple solution to this issue.
The issue I'm encountering is that whenever I attempt to upload the dd-wrt firmware (most recent few from the betas for this model) I keep getting the notification attached to this post.
I've done extensive searching on this forum and others in regards to this router and looked through the wiki for installation on this exact model and files referenced are either broken links or simply make general references to "update/upload the firmware" without any mention of being blocked by this error message.
I've found other posts mentioning that Asus is now explicitly trying to block third party firmware, but am then confused by the existence of dd-wrt firmwares uploaded as recently as two days ago.
Can anyone help me with this? What am I missing?
Thank you very much for taking the time to review this and if this IS simply a result of me missing something obvious I apologize.
