I exceeded the maximum build size for my R6400.
So perhaps it will only come for x86?
That doesn't look good for the R7800 then.
The R6400 and R7800 have 128MB flash size.
The R9000 has 512MB flash size.
It should be able to fit on a 128MB flash size, as Plex Server is approx 78MB (depending on file integration) and DD-WRT is approx 30MB.
So it would depend on the user having any other items needed to be installed, as there will be no space for anything else.
Personally, I just have DD-WRT and an adblock script, so I'd rather have Plex Server (or at least try it out) than any other add-ons, so it would be good to test it out.
How do you get to test it?
I have an R7800 and currently running Plex server on an Nvidia Shield 2019 (not connected to a TV, literally just used for the server.
TV is connected to a Roku Ultra (new 4800 model) with Plex client. All direct streaming, no transcoding, so if I can add it to my router, I can get rid of the Nvidia Shield.

My 2-cents...
I ran a Plex server on a low-powered NAS for a while. It worked... but wasn't really satisfactory - just not enough CPU horsepower. Moved the server over to a Windows machine (AMD FX-8310) and am much happier.

Without transcoding, it was disabled correct?
My first reaction was . No transcoding.
Unlike many Plex users, I rarely used it for video. Some video formats would not work - perhaps because of no transcoding. I am not sure that transcoding was even an option on the NAS platform. Using mainly as a music server was frustrating enough.
Don't misunderstand, I think Plex (and Tidal integration) is great but don't anticipate it will be a good experience, except (possibly) on powerful routers. We'll see. YMMV.
Transcoding not 'disabled' as there is no direct setting for this, but have everything set as direct play, or original stream.
You only need a powerful PC if the TV or device you're playing the content on cannot cope with the original video and has to transcode.
My 4K Dolby Vision Sony TV is able to play all video types without transcoding.
The only thing that attempts to transcode is TrueHD audio and DTS-HD audio, so I simply change the Audio track to a non-lossless audio and everything direct streams perfectly smooth.
Doing it without the need for transcoding is just like playing a video direct from your NAS with any generic media player.
Roku doesn't support Kodi otherwise I'd try that for local media playback.
I have been running my plex server on my Nvidia Sheild model from 2017. It runs great as a plex server with a 2TB USB 3.0 drive attached to the USB port. It streams 4k movies beautifully. The Nvidia shield can handle video transcoding very efficiently due to the onboard Nvidia GPU. I could be wrong but not sure that most routers will be able to perform this video transcoding as efficiently due to a lack of a GPU.
