Hello all, I am really struggling with this Netgear R6260. I have had this since January and I am not too sure what the issue is. I installed DD-WRT (as I have done for all my previous routers) and proceeded to setup my configuration (Static IP, VPN etc etc). I am then left with two issues:
1. If I reboot the router then all settings are wiped and I have to set everything up again.
2. If I do not reboot, then after 3-7 days, the settings will be reverted to default.
I have gone back to stock firmware and the router is stable and maintains settings etc after reboot (minus all the good stuff you get with DD-WRT). I have tried all firmware versions for 2021 making sure that reset settings is selected during firmware upgrade and completed 30-30-30 after each install also.
DD-WRT v3.0-r45592 (01/28/21) seems to be the most stable, lasting over 2 weeks without losing settings. Wifi does not work with this firmware version, but that's not too much of an issue as there is a separate mesh in place.
I am wondering if anyone else is having any similar issues or knows of a way to fix this?
