[WARNING]: This thread is only for feedback on this beta release for developers and the community's benefit.
DO NOT flash this beta release unless you understand the risks involved and device specific recovery methods.
Avoid discussions! Create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.

Downloads: (DD-WRT website) HTTPS & FTP (try another if a link does not work)

CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (or 'curl -k {file URL} -o {file}') with http (not https) or ftp. Then 'write {file} linux'.

Repository: Trac SVN changelog since last build r45955 (GitHub mirror)

Notes:
OpenVPN 2.5.1: Setup Guides, Server, PBR, update tips, scripts and more.
WireGuard 1.0.20210219/Tools: Setup Guides, Client, Server, Advanced, update tips, scripts and more. Thanks BS & egc!
• CVE-2019-14899 VPN fix (applicability depends on VPN setup) and GUI toggle since r41813.
Experimental build option for Broadcom 8MB+ K2.x devices (limited currently): broadcom_K3X_mipsel32r1
• Broadcom MIPS devices are now on kernel 4.4. • Support added for TP-Link Archer C8 v2 and v3.
• Dnsmasq 2.84 • SmartDNS update • MiniDLNA 1.3.0 • Privoxy 3.0.31 • Unbound 1.13.1 • CoovaChilli 1.6 • OpenSSL 1.1.1j
In-kernel Samba (ksmbd 3.3.6): default min/max versions changed. • WSD updated. • ANTFS/NTFS3 kernel mode drivers.

Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
DNScrypt 1.95 can still be used in the GUI, but v2 (not compatible) requires Golang and thus Entware. #6246
WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work
in some configurations for certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Use client or repeater instead.
VAPs not working at boot fixed for unbridged VAPs in 40562 - 40566. Effective startup commands discussion thread is here.
If start-up scripts do not work from USB add a delay, e.g. wait script or 'sleep 25'.
Broadcom ARM devices if 5 GHz channels are missing, via Telnet/SSH: 'nvram set brcm_unlock=1' 'nvram commit' 'reboot'
Show us your findings with steps to reproduce, configuration, output, logs and important information below!

Important:
• For issues provide applicable info: 'dmesg', 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages', syslog, klog, serial, strace, tcpdump, wireshark etc.
• Any firewall NAT or WAN issues, show output: 'iptables -vnL', 'iptables -t nat -vnL', 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' and /tmp/.ipt file.
• Search SVN tickets & discuss in forum before opening. Before reporting: reset & manually set up, not restore from a backup.
• Please include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, CB, WDS, Mesh) & relevant configuration information.

Warnings: as reported in the syslog below (with external drive of 4T and data 2.5T stored attached to router)
Dec 31 20:00:19 DD-WRT daemon.warn dnsmasq[1095]: warning: ignoring resolv-file flag because no-resolv is set

Actions and observations:
I placed 14G of data on a 4T clean external drive; windows explorer and dd-wrt usb tab agreed with the size data on the ntfs. There were eleven folders in total accessible across the network from windows explorer. Shortly after connecting the usb to the router the .meta folders appeared and started to grow. Normally these .meta folders would grow to a size of 171 bytes. These folders were growing for in excess of 9 hours and at the time of disconnecting the drive, the size data on the ntfs was 962.3G.
As to accessing from another medium other than windows explorer, of the eleven folders that were saved, only seven, 7, were accessible even after nine hours.
I copied the eleven folders without the .meta folders to a 16G thumb drive and connected to the router. There was no problem. Dd-wrt usb is still reading 14.0G used and all eleven folders are accessible to all network media almost instantaneously.
As to the 2T external drive with data of 1.8T on the ntfs, it cannot be accessed from the windows explorer but it mounts and can be accessed by other media simultaneously.

Update
I have reverted to a build before the new ntfs drivers, an older build, with no issues with the usb, nas, dlna, accessing it from windows explorer or any other medium; the size of the data remains the same whether reported by windows or ddwrt usb tab and there is no delay in accessing the data. In fact, I have 2 external drives attached and I can access each by any means.
What I have lost by giving up this newer build is the download speed; a trade-off that is worth it.
Thanks BS

Router Model: Netgear R7000

Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r45993M Community Build (03/13/21)
Kernel Version: Why are we bothering to record this for anything other than custom compilations?
Upgraded from: DD-WRT v3.0-r45863 Community Build (02/28/21)
Reset: GUI reset followed by a few reboots then an NVRam Erase after install.

Configuration:
1. Wireless Access Point Mode
2. WireGuard Client Configured.
3. PBR disabled and Fancy DNS Disabled for testing.
4. 2.4GHz & 5GHz bridged networks.
5. VAP Configured using GUI
a. AP Isolation: Enabled
b. Network Configuration: Unbridged
c. Net Isolation: Enabled
6. VLAN Configured on Port 4 for Work PC:
a. Networking tab, Port 4 moved from vlan1 to vlan3, assigned to bridge “None”
a. Nvram settings corrected.
Wireless Performance:
Wl0-2.4GHz: 54Mb/s WiFi tested on iPhone 11 Pro using the built-in speed checker.
Wl0.1-2.4 GHz VAP: 61.3Mb/s
Wl1-5GHz: 197Mb/s WiFi tested on iPhone 11 Pro using the built-in speed checker.

Internet Performance, about 95Mb/s with or without wireguard.

One thing I noticed was that I could ping the PC on the port 4 wired VLAN which was on a separate subnet until I turned on Net Isolation. That does not seem right, if I am only being protected by a routing script what is the point of the VLAN?
