Linksys EA8500

Issues with 2.4GHz - Android client attempts to connect but continually fails - disabling TurboQAM (QAM256) support seems to resolve.

The only thing that stands out in the log is:

Mar 12 20:11:54 Linksys EA8500 daemon.notice hostapd: wlan0: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: Could not set STA to kernel driver

when TurboQAM (QAM256) support is enabled. Firmware is VANILLA, NG-Mixed is the network mode @ 20MHz.

No - it's disabled.

The only option I've toggled is the TurboQAM support - with it enabled I have connection/authentication issues, with it disabled all is fine.

Also, build 02-06-2021-r45690 was the last build that worked fine with TurboQAM enabled for me.

No - it's disabled.

The only option I've toggled is the TurboQAM support - with it enabled I have connection/authentication issues, with it disabled all is fine.

Also, build 02-06-2021-r45690 was the last build that worked fine with TurboQAM enabled for me.

tried ddwrt firmware already im guessing?

I deactivate TurboQAM and use Vanilla Firmware for 2.4 GHz seems to be working with that.

Also use that for my R7800
