You have to update from 40559 via CLI using PuTTY (telnet/ssh):
Code:
cd /tmp
wget http://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2020/11-03-2020-r44715/tplink_tl-wr1043nd/tl-wr1043nd-webflash.bin
write tl-wr1043nd-webflash.bin linux &
reboot
40559 was still broken for webUI upgrades on Atheros, if memory serves.
You should consider updating to the current release:
Sorry, I tried everything and the response I get is "Image too big for partition linux" are there any other options?

Did you flash it straight to 40559 from factory? Because I checked 40559, 44715 and 45955 and all the images are the same size... so, something is awry here. I wouldn't think you'd have to downgrade to upgrade... or you may have to serial flash it. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Well, I don't recall all the history on firmware upgrade.
I believe I should use update through COM port (or serial). I'll have to dissasemble my router and etc, but that is ok.
Thank everyone for materials.
Upon sucessfull compleation I'll write back. Otherwise I am keep trying)
I am using DD-WRT for more than 3 years and this is my first forum posting. It is very pleasant to have such brief responses. Even if I'll brick the router I'll continue to use DD-WRT
