Hi,
I have a problem with this router wrt3200acm, i saw inside forum that the driver for 2.4ghz has a bug so for use of 2.4 network i needed a virtual ap for 2.4 with WMM disabled.

But the problem is that after i choose the channels with a tool, i have slow download speeds:

5 mbps -> download
14 mbps -> upload

My isp connection is:
78 mpbs -> download
20 mpbs -> upload

Which build are you using? Most users fall back to r44048 if unable to configure the latest build to their needs.

Try Protection Mode None & RTS/CTS Threshold Disable. Try channel 1, 6 or 11. Try SSID Broadcast Enable.

For each VAP enabled add 100 TU to Beacon Interval (200) and set DTIM Interval to 1 for the same radio.

Sensitivity Range ACK Timing is set way far too low; old default was 2000 but now 500. Try default 500.

WRT3200ACM is Marvell hardware.

I'm using 45891 firmware version.
I had enabled two protection mode for vap and 2.4 ap.
I disabled the one on vap and set on the other the treshold 2340.

for beacon i set 200, but i need to set DTIM to 1 for both?

Btw now things are better i can achieve 13 in download and 9 in upload, but i don't know if this value are good for what i get from ISP connection.

For example on modem FritzBox 7530 on 2.4ghz i can reach 30 download and 20 upload.

No, these are not good values (~10Mbit are absolutely not much).

Over 2,4Ghz I reach 350Mbit (HT40 4x4) or 120Mbit (HT20 2x2 with the smarthpone)

But is certainly also dependent on the router / client and the interference

Maybe is that drive bug.
And for now that wont be fixed.

Back two month ago i've installed Express VPN on my router, but it have the same problem.

Express VPN use custom DD-WRT, with a page for choose the VPN server.
When i contact them for support they say that are working on it.

Maybe some day i can get the best out of my router.

My router with linksys firmware works good so i think that the problem is still the driver bug on 2.4ghz and i hope that one day is fixed.

Please refer to all settings in my first reply, but also try G-Only or NG-Mixed wireless network modes.

What build are you running? It took me multiple tries to figure out how to fix all my 3200acm issues i had, i upgraded to build 44048 uptime went from 60% to 98% wifi stays up on both bands. My settings recommended after alot of trial and error. 5ghz NG/Mixed VHT80 then auto and auto. 2.4GHZ NG/Mixed Full20mhz then auto. I realized running static channels/extension channels in my location cause so many issues specifically with the 3200acm. Other routers i dont have any issues with wifi stability etc. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

forsure forsure. you shouldnt have any issues when running 44048. when using ipv6 make sure u use this https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/IPv6. you should have only uptime, i did notice openwrt runs better on the wrt3200acm. so if your able to swap over id say try it out. might help since it isnt so advanced etc also i think it just runs better. Do some research.. always type reddit or dd wrt after any search so it brings u to some logical answers. Good Luck bud
