Yes. Don't do an nvram erase from telnet/ssh, for one. Or just don't reset at all, but if you do, do it from the webUI.

After reading posts from ksk the wiki may need to be updated after further confirmation (e.g. WPS hard reset).

Modern builds seem to be okay. Keep in mind the newer "nvram erase" command did not exist way back then.
