I'm suggesting that the current samba is finnicky as heck and may mount the drive one day and not mount it the next. The first reported issue was with an ntfs volume, but apparently the ext* filesystem volumes are having issues as well. Samba is an ongoing work in progress still.

Subject to correction but the last build with the old ntfs drivers which did not require cleaning and mounted every time was build r45592; all builds afterwards have the new ntfs drivers.

I'm update device via ssh. Generally router work rather good. I have problem with MACs, I don't know how to fix it.

I need to mention that a second routeur same apparent Netgear R8000 DO NOT reflect ANY httpd unresponsiveness issue.
There are no visible differences between them (same hw mentions and SW kernel and config only different ISP via asus routeurs). The only difference between the two is the first one (which has httpd to be restarted thru ssh) is almost always with web console session opened onto via direct eth.
