disable autochannel. and use fixed channels. i dont know why this happens sometimes. if you reboot several times it will work _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Sounds like a Mac to me.." - Louis Rossmann https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL_5YDRWqGE&t=60s
That still doesn't work, even by rebooting/resetting like 10 times, I cannot be assigned an IP address to access the router. And I can't change it to a fix channel if I can't get to the web GUI.

the chipset still detects a wrong frequency range even if i forcefull disabled it. thats the point. i dont know what the driver is doing here. need to think about it
but as i said. you can override it. (but doesnt help is with testing). _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Sounds like a Mac to me.." - Louis Rossmann https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL_5YDRWqGE&t=60s

okay. this version should at least fix the crash. but adds also some debug for discovering why the chipset detects wrong frequency ranges. so even if it does not crash anymore post the serial log
and if it still crashes, i will drink some jägermeister and try to get over it _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Sounds like a Mac to me.." - Louis Rossmann https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL_5YDRWqGE&t=60s
Sorry for the delay,
I've flashed it two times with nmrpflash cause I can't access wed GUI.
And even after the two flashes and reboot I still can't be assigned an IP.
I included a log with the flash taking place and another after the reboot.
BTW: I'm feeling sorry for that poor bottle of jäger.

you flashed the wrong version. its still the old one and not the one i uploaded here. so no jäger for me. but it should be considered that this image can only be flashed from a dd-wrt webinterface. so i upload you here also a factory image. so you can use nmrpflash

Working good now,
I've tested both bands in AP and/or client mode with internet and so far so good, and no more problem has been found with the other settings of DD-WRT.
Nice work, have a drink if has not already be done Cheers
