I'm running a 4 WDS station and 1 WDS AP (5 GHz) setup. All but 1 station disconnects/reconnects at random. All are running the same firmware (r45592) and all are R7800 routers. None of the affected stations are rebooting so it's a wifi issue. All stations are configured the same (except for IP) so I'm at a loss as to why 1 of them never drops. I can't remember the last firmware where this wasn't an issue but it was before r45229.

At this point these later builds are kind of rough.. I wouldn't recommend going beyond R44715 (44719). This is a pretty good and stable build, check it out
I rolled back the station routers to r44700. What a hassle that was. I'll have to roll back the AP when no one's on the network. I suppose I may have lost some security updates though.
If you're interested in utilizing 80mhz a little outside of your neighbors for some more bandwidth (worked very well for me on my r7800, and this version doesn't need reboots!), DD-WRT v3.0-r42335 std (02/10/20) is the last version where you can successfully use channel 165 as part of an 80mhz wide band. It improved speeds for me in a cluttered area.

Grrr. I rolled back the AP router to 44700 but a lost most of the configuration. I had a nvram backup file for that firmware but it did not restore the WAN IP settings (static IP) or the wireless settings or the services including the static leases. My dnscrypt-proxy settings and wireguard settings are gone also. What good is a backup file if it doesn't restore everything? So I'm extremely angry that I have to manually re-install everything.

never had any problems with proper backups
they have always restored everything for me until now

Whoa, this is awesome news, thanks! Is this just in the advanced settings checkbox?
If newer versions can hit 30+ days without wifi slowdowns/disconnects or random reboots, it would be REALLY nice to get OpenVPN 2.5 going. Channel overlapping would clear up my one reservation to even attempting to check out newer builds. Thanks again!

I got over 4 days of uptime with the 44700 firmware. I'll give 45667 a chance and hope that I can roll back with the saved nvram for 44700 if it doesn't work out.

Do any of the betas ever make it into a stable build area? I'm really curious as to why there are so many betas. Surely, there can't be that many variations for these routers(?).
