Do anyone have smart sockets that are Tuya based? I cannot seem to get them detected in the app even though they are connected to my DDWRT router. I have read some reports that turning off WMM might work but it does not seem to work for me. I have also tried setting up a VAP but its the same thing there. Are there any settings I should be aware of?

I've got a few, no problems at all. Just make sure they are able to connect to the 2.4ghz wifi, they dont work on 5ghz.
I have several tuya devices. I find EZ Mode setup rarely works. If you haven't tried already, switch to app mode for setup. I've run into similar issues with other brands as well.
The device is connected over ethernet and as described the phone app always reports "time exceed" after a few minutes. Interestingly the same device works just fine with the same phone and a standard ISP router.
- Enabled UPnP > doesn't work
- Changed DNS to ISP provided servers > doesn't work
- Changed DNS to 1.1.1.1 > doesn't work
The device doesn't seem to be trying to do anything, no connections:
The phone does some DNS queries before the timeout such as:
I tried to manually resolve those records with dig and I got results.
I have 3x2 different types that work with the Tuya app. I have them connected to a VAP where WMM Support is disabled. They will not connect if WMM Support is enabled. _________________ Linksys: Several WRTxx00AC variations | Netgear: 4x WNDR4500v2, 7x WNDR4300, R6400v1 | Asus: 2x RT-AC66U | Gl.inet: 3x GL-AR150

Interesting but in my case I'm trying to connect an Ethernet Zigbee gateway so no Wifi involved.
Did you change any other setting your router such as UPNP, Multicast filtering etc in order for your devices to work?
UPNP is disabled. Multicast Filter is enabled. The only thing that changed my ability to connect the outlets to wifi was the WMM setting. _________________ Linksys: Several WRTxx00AC variations | Netgear: 4x WNDR4500v2, 7x WNDR4300, R6400v1 | Asus: 2x RT-AC66U | Gl.inet: 3x GL-AR150
