Hi guys. I'm new here, and I hope I've got the right forum. I'm using dd-wrt with a buffalo whr-hp-g54, and a 18db directional antenna. with xmit to 70, I can send a clear wireless signal a fair distance. Before I encrypted with wpa2 psk-aes, I could see a few folks using the signal. I can use the garbage can feature. Neat. but what the heck are the mac adresses that sometimes show up under status, wireless, Wireless Nodes Clients? Any information appreciated. Leagh

Sash, thanks for the reply. I would like to find a site that could show the different pages in dd-wrt, and explain what these settings are. Perhaps you know of one? I disabled the wireless GUI access yesterday so that wireless clients can not see the router settings. Trial and error. However, there is fun in learning. Leagh
